Is craigslist the best for finding a place to sleep?

My girlfriend and I just broke up and I'll be sleeping in my car the next few nights, unless I can find a warm place to sleep (and shower) between shifts for less than what it would cost to stay at a hotel. I have cash since payday was February 3'rd
