An old pay day loan from a different country?

A few years ago I want to say about 3..I took out a payday loan that was established in a different country and paid off only half off it and I had to close my account and I couldn't figure out their number after my phone broke and I had to get a new number...they haven't called me or anything I think it was estabslished in a completely different country then the US and its not on my credit report at all. If they haven't called me or mailed me in the last few years, should I worry about it? If its from a different country? I have no way of knowing who they are, since my phone broke and I lost all my old bank information. This was probably in 2008 it happened so it's been awhile
